We traveled 24 hours from Moscow to the far North by train, and lived and worked at the Arctic Center. First, we made "School Kits" on an assembly line. Then we delivered these kits and other humanitarian aid, along with Bibles, Gospel bracelets, and Christian Literature, to schools and orphanages. It was a lot of work! But, as a result many heard about Jesus and many prayed. |

Children are the future of Russia; they are the most precious resource we have. In Russia it is estimated that there are 2-3 million homeless children! This is more than 1% of the population! The statistics are grim, because most of these kids usually wind up in trouble, and go to jail after leaving the orphanage. We came to tell these kids about Jesus, the only ONE who can make a real difference in their lives.

We worked together with the local church, and administration and had the chance to meet Russian families and share with them the "Real" meaning of Christmas. The North of Russia is filled with prisons, and most of these kids are in some way connected to fathers and mothers who are in jail. The families here are in desperate need of knowing about God and His love for their families. We plan to visit these families and orphanages "again" and tell them more about Jesus. It was such a JOY to see the seeds that God gave us, planted, and begin to grow. But, the Laborers are so FEW... and we NEED more people to come and help.
